HDMI is NOT needed. Component Cables are so much more sharper, and almost as good as VGA. HDMI doesn't even do 1080p; it upscales internally to fool people.
PS3 has no games, no online, and no dev support. And it's $500 more than the 360. Sony should just give up right now!
